Tell David about your project

Have an idea for a custom print, a part to reproduce, or a special clicker order? Share what you need and how it will be used. David handles custom requests and will review the details with you.

Project details

Describe what you need and include any references that will help David understand the project.

Start with the purpose

Explain what the piece needs to do, its approximate size, how it should look, and how many you need. Include photos, drawings, measurements, or a link to a model if you have them. If there is a date you need the project for, include that too.

What happens next

1. David reviews the idea
He considers the intended use, shape, function, appearance, and material needs. He may ask for more details before deciding whether the project is a fit.

2. Agree the work and price
David discusses the proposed approach, any modeling work, the price, and timing with you. Modeling can add to the cost and will be discussed as part of the quote.

3. Confirm before production
Agree the scope, payment arrangements, and timing before production starts.

Working from an existing part?

Start with clear photographs, measurements, and a description of how the part is used. David may need to inspect the original to understand its shape or fit. Arrange any handoff or shipment, including how the part will be returned, with him before sending it.
